The word "vaccine" was not used by former President Donald Trump at a rally in Alaska.
"We did a lot in terms of therapies and a word that I'm not allowed to talk about," Trump said.
We did that in nine months, and it was supposed to take five years to twelve years. Nobody else was able to do it. I don't mention it in front of my people.

The vaccine roll-out has been a point of pride for Trump.
His endorsement of vaccines puts him at odds with his base. He was booed at a rally when he revealed that he got the vaccine booster shot and encouraged his followers to get vaccinations.
In Trump-voting counties, vaccine take-up was less than in other areas.
Many of the former president's loyalists are against taking the shots.
Data shows that Republicans are less concerned about the health effects of the virus than Democrats are.
The Trump administration's plan to make COVID-19 vaccines quickly was seen as a success.
AP Fact Check said that Trump wrongly took credit for the vaccines. The Moderna vaccine was one of the major beneficiaries of the scheme, but Pfizer's vaccine was not developed under the government initiative.
