How to Earn More Than $50 in Amazon Credits Ahead of Prime Day

There are many benefits to being an Amazon Prime member. We've highlighted the best promotions below. It's easy to spend money on Amazon if you want to treat yourself.

Most of the promotions require you to spend money in order to get credits. If you don't want to pay to watch Lightyear, then you shouldn't choose that promotion. Do you think the promotion is worth it?

At Amazon, you can get up to 52 credits.

There are a few things you need to know before diving in. To use this feature, you need to be a Prime member. The credits are added to eligible accounts after the offer's criteria is met. When those credits have been added, you'll get an email from Amazon. There is no way to see the total balance of your promotional credits in your Amazon account, but once they are added, they will apply automatically during checkout for purchases on eligible items shipped and sold by Amazon.

If you want credits to be added in time for Prime Day, you should jump on them sooner than later.

Prime members can get $10 in credit for completing a promotional stamp card. One activity involves spending $5 so one could argue that it is a $5 credit. Buying a Prime-eligible item worth $5 or more, watching a show on Prime Video, listening to a song on Prime Music, and borrowing a free ebook are all included in the activities. There are redemption instructions and details here. You may not be eligible for the promotion if you don't complete step 2.

1. Log in to Amazon with your Prime account. There's a free 30-day trial available for new members.
2. Head to this page. Click Activate Stampcard. Amazon says, “If you browse this promotion page and do not confirm your participation by clicking ‘[Activate] your Stampcard’, you will not be eligible for this promotion.”
3. Collect all four stamps by the end of the day on July 13 to receive your credit. Your credit will be applied directly to your Amazon account within 48 hours of completing the stamp card.

$5 in credit can be given when you purchase a movie ticket or Lightyear merchandise. If you use Amazon Pay, you can get $5 off concession purchases. Eligible items start at $6 and can be viewed here.

We don't like buy-now, pay- later services as they can be predatory. You can get $25 in Amazon credit for using Affirm if you spend $100 or more on Prime Day.

Some of the deals are targeted to certain accounts. These are good ways to get more benefits if you are eligible.

Only Prime members will be able to take advantage of this offer. July 12 is when it starts. If you add a $50 Amazon gift card to your cart and use the promo code during checkout, you'll get a promotional credit. You can reload your Amazon account here. You can send a gift card to yourself if you aren't reloading. If you are going to spend at least $50 at Amazon on Prime Day, this is worth it.

You could be eligible for this promotion if you've never signed into the Amazon mobile app before. You'll get a discount on your first and second purchases. The deal ends on July 31

If you're uploading a photo to Amazon Photos for the first time, you'll get $20 off a purchase of $40 or more. It's important to back up your photos and Amazon Photos is a good alternative. If you were going to switch to Amazon Photos anyways, this credit is worth it.

If you have a Discover card, you can add it to your Amazon wallet and get $20 off a purchase of $20 or more. You can use the promo code at checkout to get your discount after you add it to your wallet.

Don't apply for a credit card if you want to get a gift card. If you've thoroughly researched this card and have thought about applying for one, this promotion will give you a free $200 gift card.
