Hitman 3 is getting its first new map on July 26th as free DLC

IO Interactive said that the new map, Ambrose Island, will be free DLC for all players on July 26. This is the first new map for the game.

Ambrose Island looks like a place led by a rebel. IO Interactive says the map is an explorable place with a hidden cove and a pirate syndicate operating in the sea. New targets, challenges, and rewards will be part of the game.

As part of its year two reveal earlier this year, IO Interactive showed off a map called "Rocky". The game studio announced in May that it had pushed Ambrose Island's release date up to make up for the delay of Hitman 3's upcoming roguelike mode. The new mode is expected to arrive in the second half of the year.

There are a number of changes in IO Interactive's plan. Vicente Murillo is the current Elusive Target and will be returning on July 15th.
