The new Wimbledon champion said she didn't know how to celebrate her win.

When she won, the woman simply raised her arm in the air and didn't celebrate.

She joked that she will have to teach the new champ how to celebrate.

The title was up for grabs and one of the favorites was defeated by a stunning fightback by the champion.

After the winning moment, she went into the stands to celebrate with her box.

"Perhaps one day you will see huge reaction from me, but unfortunately not today," she said.

I had no idea what to do. There's too much emotion. I was not trying to be aggressive.

I was going to cry when I gave the speech, but I held it.

I'm going to cry when I'm alone. I'm not sure.

When she was asked if her parents would be proud, she grew emotional, but joked that she wanted to see emotion. I didn't let it go for too long.

'Kazakhstan believed in me'

Since the beginning of the year, she has represented the country.

Russian and Belarusian players were not allowed to play at this year's tournament by the All England Club because of Russia's actions in Ukraine.

She has said that she is proud to represent her country at the Olympics and Grand Slams.

The president of the Tennis Federation of the country was in her support box on Saturday.

However, Russian Tennis Federation president Shamil Tarpischev claimed the victory for the sport in his country, telling Russian news agency Ria Novosti: "It is very nice! Well done Rybakina! We win Wimbledon."

From my side, I can only say that I'm from the country. I was born in a different place.

people believed in me I received a lot of support from the country of Kazakhstan. Today, I heard a lot of support. I could see the flags.

Who is new Wimbledon champion Rybakina?

She was told she wouldn't succeed as a professional ice skater because she was too tall.

When she left school, she stopped playing tennis. Her father was worried about the financial implications of turning pro and he wanted her to attend college.

The Kazakhstan Tennis Federation made an offer to financially support her, which resulted in her representing them from the beginning.

She had a breakthrough start to 2020 when she reached four finals in her first five events after winning her first title.

Before the tour shut down because of the coronaviruses, she was the first female Kazakh to reach the top 20.

She reached the fourth round at Wimbledon a few weeks later after defeating Serena Williams in the fourth round at the French Open.

She admitted that she didn't think she would win the title at this year's tournament.

When everything is going to be calm, she thinks she's going to enjoy.

I'm going to be spending time with my friends and family. I'm going to remember all the good times on this day.

'I need to teach her how to celebrate'

There has been warm support for the player who was trying to become the first Arab to win a Grand Slam.

She spoke to her opponent at the net after the match and said she deserved the title.

"Maybe because she's shy and she doesn't show her personality, her game speaks for her."

I like to play Elena. She didn't celebrate when you lost against her.

She needs to be taught how to celebrate really well.

Journalists were shown the phone lock screen of the Venus Rosewater dish.

She joked that she might use one of the US Open trophy to change the picture to one of her niece.

She said she was happy.

I will leave with a smile on my face. Tennis is something I like to do. I want to feel good about myself.
