At a Las Vegas rally on Friday, Donald Trump said that drug dealers should be put to death.
The only countries that do not have a drug problem are those that impose the death penalty for drug traffickers. The only ones are them. Trump said that they don't have any problems.

He went on to say that China has no drug problem because drug dealers are going to trial quickly and be executed if they're found guilty.
Data shows that drugs are still popular in China. The number of drug users in China increased by 6.8% by the end of the year.
China has come under fire for its policy of executing people for non-violent crimes.
Drug-related offenses do not meet the threshold of "most serious crimes" to warrant the death penalty in countries that have not abolished it.
The country of China is secretive about its execution rates and that those sentenced do not receive fair trials, according to a statement by the human rights organization.
This isn't the first time that Trump has called for the execution of drug dealers.
Trump accused the Biden administration of allowing lawlessness to thrive and claimed that Democratic-controlled cities were seeing record-high crime rates.
Republicans have seized upon rising crime in big cities as a mid-term issue and have framed their party as harder on crime than Democrats.
The Third Way report found that eight of the top ten states with the highest per capita murder rates voted for Trump in 2020.
Trump regretted allowing Democrats to run their cities and said he would not allow that again.

The Republican candidates for governor and the Senate had Trump campaigning for them.
