Some DoorDash customers were able to get thousands of dollars worth of groceries and food for free because of a glitch on the food delivery site.
Users were able to check out without paying on Thursday night, according to posts on social media.
A customer with a DoorDash account showed a receipt for more than $3,000 that included items such as 32 packs of diapers and 45 units of baking soda. Several boxes of alcohol were shown in a picture posted by the user.

A customer told Insider that he got goods worth about $10,000 for free because of the glitch.
Some customers who successfully completed a fraudulent order claimed to have blocked their card to avoid DoorDash taking payment from them.
A user told Insider that DoorDash hadn't been in touch to recover items after he bought $400 worth of items.

A commission is charged on all orders according to the DoorDash website. According to the company, merchants that deliver the products were the ones missing out on the bulk of payments.
Some users were able to check out without an authorized form of payment after a payment processing issue on July 7.
