As part of his mission to tackle the "underpopulation crisis" that he claims is "the biggest danger civilization faces by far", Musk says he's going to increase the benefits for his employees. The world's richest man tried to back out of a $44 billion deal to take over the company that he was about to lead.

Musk says that kids are worth it. I plan to increase the benefits for my employees. Hopefully other companies do the same thing. Nick Cannon chimed in on Musk's response to a question about the financial implications of having several kids. Musk says that the Musk Foundation will give directly to families. Next month, Musk will give more information about these plans.

Up to 16 weeks of paid family leave and up to $40,000 for fertility services are provided by the company. Job listings for Neuralink state that it offers parental leave, but it is not clear what kind of family benefits the company has.

After a report from Insider revealed that Musk had twins with one of his top Neuralink executives, Musk brought up the topic again. Shortly after the claims surfaced, Musk said he was doing his best to help the population crisis. Musk, who currently has nine known children, has made big promises in the past, but not always.

He responded to Zelenskyy's plea to send over Starlink satellites at the start of Russia's, as well as committing to fundingFlint, Michigan to help residents access clean water. It will be interesting to see if Musk follows through on his promise to increase child care benefits or if it is just a joke.
