According to reports, the company has told employees to keep their mouths shut while it pursues legal action against Musk.

The memo was given to staff by Sean Edgett.

According to an internal memo, he told people not to share any commentary about the merger agreement because it was an ongoing legal matter. When we are able to, we will continue to share information, but we will be very limited on what we can share in the meantime.

Edgett concluded the memo by saying "I know this is an uncertain time, and we appreciate your patience and ongoing commitment to the important work we have begun."

The company had no further comment, and pointed to a press release issued yesterday that stated the board intends to take legal action.

Musk's lawyers told the SEC that the company is in violation of multiple provisions of the merger agreement and that he is going to end the deal.

Taylor said that the company will file a lawsuit against Musk because he tried to back out of the deal.

Taylor said that the board would pursue legal action to enforce the merger agreement. The Delaware Court of Chancery is where we are confident we'll win.
