The first player from Kazakhstan to win a Grand Slam title was Elena Rybakina, who won the Wimbledon title.

The youngest Wimbledon singles champion in the last four years was 23-year-old Rybakina.

In a year when Wimbledon banned Russians from playing, she won.

Russian and Belarusian players were not allowed to play at this year's tournament by the All England Club because of Russia's actions in Ukraine.

The Duke of Cambridge presented the Venus Rosewater Dish to the woman after she changed her loyalties.

The 17th seed won the match with her first match point.

The new champion raised her right arm in the air as part of a subdued celebration.

After sharing a hug with her teammate, she ran up the stairs to hug her team.

She said that she was happy.

There's more to come.
