Chelsea: N'Golo Kante and Ruben Loftus-Cheek to miss US trip due to vaccination status

The club has confirmed that N'Golo Kante and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will miss the pre-season tour of the United States due to their Covid vaccinations.

The Blues are in LA for a training camp.

Travelers who are not fully protected against coronaviruses can't enter the US.

Only US citizens can enter the country if they aren't up to date on their vaccinations.

"N'Golo Kante and Ruben Loftus-Cheek will not travel due to their Covid vaccination status," Chelsea said in a statement.

They are going to play three games in the US.

They face Mexico's Club America in Las Vegas on July 17th, Charlotte FC in Bank of America Stadium on July 21st, and London rivals in Florida on July 23rd.

The two injured players have been included in the squad.

Returning loan players include Michy Batshuayi.

The player will join up with the squad next week.
