Police Swarm Steve Bannon's D.C. Home In Frightening 'Swatting' Attack: Report

Heavily armed police officers swarmed former White House strategist Steve Bannon's Washington home Friday after someone called in a false report of a man with a gun.

The caller claimed that a man had shot someone.

There is a row house on the corner of Capitol Hill and the Supreme Court.

HEAVY police presence centered on the block of A St NE btwn 2nd & 3rd. MPD says they’re responding “to a report of an individual with a mental health crisis. He was making threats that he shot someone. No victim has been found.”

The alarm went off about an hour after the call.

A police officer told the newspaper that the phone call appeared to be a hoax.

As he returned to his home, he told NBC News that the police were very good.

The Post noted that it wasn't clear if he was at home when police arrived.

The assistant District of Columbia police chief said that officers walked through the home to make sure it was safe.

He is accused of being part of a plan to overthrow the president. He told him to kill Biden in the crib.

According to sources, the Post reported on Friday that Trump is considering waiving executive privilege to allow Steve Bannon to testify before the panel.

Trump is not allowed to waive executive privilege because he is not an executive anymore. People being investigated in the January 6 insurrection are not protected by executive privilege, according to President Joe Biden.

Crimes are not protected by executive privilege, as well as being private citizens.
