After announcing his intentions to end his bid to purchase social media giant Twitter, the billionaire Musk has set his sights on a brand new target and one that has been in the news a lot recently: Spirit Airlines.
There is a love triangle involving both Frontier Airlines and JetBlue Airways. After initially agreeing to be acquired by Frontier, JetBlue threw in a late bid, then another, and another, and 9 more bids in what has appeared to be a desperation move by an airline trying to stay relevant.
Musk is flush with cash, bongs, children, and nothing better to do, so he's trying to fix Spirit Airlines. Musk is quoted as saying that they don't have enough fights on Spirit Airlines. They have overrotated so much that passengers who want to express their freedom of speech can no longer do so without fear of being banned. Over the last 4 months, the leadership of Spirit has let their guard down.
Musk is suggesting ways to bring spirit back to its roots. One idea, which has received over 42,000 retweets, suggests the airline add a special "Fight Class" section where passengers can strip down to loincloths and go straight "EdNorton" on each other.
One idea suggested by the billionaire is to have a creation class fare.
It's not clear how high the billionaire was when he decided to acquire Spirit.
