On Friday, a member of the House select committee said that Pat Cipollone did not contradict his testimony when he met with the panel.

The meeting took place behind closed doors and came after public testimony from Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to ex- Trump chief of staff MarkMeadows, that placed Cipollone as a central player in the behind-the-scenes drama at the White House.

Mr. Cipollone answered a lot of questions willingly. He didn't try to undermine the testimony of other people. Lofgren said that they learned a few things in the hearings.

It was a tiring day for all involved, but it was worth it.

People can assume that Cipollone confirmed Hutchinson's testimony.

Lofgren said that not conflicting is not the same as confirmation.

He did not say so. He might not be present for certain things or he might not remember certain things. I think he did appear willingly. He was honest with the committee. She believes that he was honest in his answers.

He was subpoenaed by the House panel after he testified.

Hutchinson said that he warned her not to take Trump to the Capitol that day because he was going to get charged with a lot of crimes.

At one point, Cipollone urged Mark to take action on Jan. 6, at which point he said, "Mark, something needs to be done or people are going to die and the blood is going to be on your effing hand."
