Norrie says reaching the Wimbledon semi-finals was pretty sick and gave him more belief that he can win a Grand Slam title.

The 12th ranked player made a confident start against the defending champion in the semifinals.

On Centre Court, Norrie faded as a result of the loss.

Norrie wants to go further and try to win a slam.

Only four Britons have ever reached the final at the All England Club in the Open era.

He went past the third round of a major for the first time in his career.

After a confident start, Norrie began to make more mistakes as his opponent improved.

Norrie said it was a good experience to play Novak.

I have a lot of faith in it.

It's pretty sick to get to the semifinals on the Friday of the second week. It doesn't mean much.

It's nice to do it and enjoy it.

I need to keep working hard and keep improving my game.

Norrie was trying to become the second British man after Andy Murray to reach a Wimbledon men's singles final.

He received great support from the home crowd at Wimbledon and it culminated with a partisan atmosphere on Centre Court for the semi-finals.

Wimbledon's famous Hill was packed with supporters watching on the big screen, willing him to a victory which looked like it could be on the cards when he took advantage of a sluggish start from the Serbian.

The Serb improved his quality as the match progressed and he was able to win.

He said he expected Norrie to have many more chances to reach a final.

He's an all-around player and a professional.

He is doing things off the court. You are always going to get chances with this approach.

"I think I have a lot of things to be proud of," said Norrie, who was the ninth seed.

A lot of people around the country expect me to do well in this place.

I got through the draw in the way that I did, handling the occasions of playing Centre Court, playing Court One, and playing guys that I'm actually favourite to beat," he said.

Everyone supported me. The crowd was loud and enthusiastic. It was crazy to serve that game to make the semi-finals.
