Steve Bannon

If you go back into your brain, you may recall a name. The guy works for the right-wing news organization. Racist as well as alt- right. A former Trump chief strategist. There was a curse with watery eyes that conveyed contempt.

Did you still not ring a bell? The house got hit. According to a report from the Washington Post, police officers surrounded and swarmed a fancy Capitol Hill home on Friday. There was an armed man inside a residence on the 200 block of A Street NE who had shot someone. Police closed down nearby streets for about an hour.

The Supreme Court Building is located across the street from the Capitol Building. The incident appeared to be centered on Bannon's house alone. The false police report appeared to have been to his house.

The cops told the Post that they had encountered a person with a mental health crisis but there was no gun. The initial report appeared to be false, and was probably an intentional swatting, according to a police spokesman.

In a brief interaction with an NBC News reporter, Bannon was filmed reentering his home. He only replied that the police were great.

The trial for the failure to cooperate with the congressional hearings is set for July 18. The contempt case is not the first time that the man has been in trouble with the law. He was indicted on federal charges of defrauding campaign donors. The consequences in New York may still be on top of the consequences in Washington.
