The Golden State Warriors have yet to discuss extensions for both Andrew and Jordan.

Warriors owner Joe Lacob said in an interview that they have time to do those things. There is no hurry on that. There will be some discussions this summer. We have not spoken to them.

After the 2022-23 season, the five-year, $147 million max contract he signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves will be his last and he will be an unrestricted free agent.

There is a chance that he will sign a extension. He will be a restricted free agent after the 2022-23 season if he and the Warriors can't agree on a contract by October 17.

Golden State already has the NBA's most expensive roster and is in the luxury tax so it's going to be difficult for the Warriors to keep both of them.

Significant extensions will be required for both of them.

Lacob said it would be difficult. I will not lie to the fans. We don't know what we'll do next summer. We're doing well this year. This is called running it back by me. There is always going to be some change, even though a couple people are not back. The future is the past. We think we will have a good team.

We're going to be facing more issues with respect to the cap and luxury tax next summer. We need to see how this goes. It is a year to year thing. We're going to see how everyone plays. We think we are going to contend again. We should see if we can win again. What we can do is extended by that. We need to rethink things if we don't.

In 73 regular-season games, he averaged 17.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1,0 steal, while shooting 46.6% from the floor and 39.6% from deep.

In the playoffs, the 27-year-old was just as good as he was in the regular season. He averaged more than 16 points in 22 playoff games.

He put together a career-redefining year in his second full season with the Warriors and wants to stay in the Bay Area.

I want to stay here. This is topnotch. "We're all one big family, the way they treat the players, the way they treat your family, we're all treated the same." "Here their actions show it, so I would love to stay here."

In 76 regular-season games, Poole averaged 18.5 points, 3.4 rebound and 4.0 assists, while shooting 44.8% from the floor and 36.4% from deep.

In the playoffs, he averaged 17 points, 2.8 rebound and 3.8 assists while shooting 50.8 percent from the floor and 39.1% from deep.

The Warriors would like to keep the two players around after the 2022-23 season. It's not surprising that the franchise hasn't discussed extensions with either player as its main focus is on preparing for the upcoming season
