"Honorable Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh and all of our other patrons at the restaurant were unfairly harassed by unruly protestors while eating dinner at our Morton's restaurant," the restaurant said in a statement.

The right to congregate and eat dinner should not be jeopardized by politics. Everything is in a time and place. It was an act of selfishness that disturbed the dinner of all of our customers.

The Supreme Court has been contacted by a person.

Protests have been held outside of the homes of the conservative justices who supported the ruling after the leak of it. After the Supreme Court handed down the ruling, the protests intensified.

The California man was charged with planning to kill the Supreme Court justice.

Gail Curley, the Supreme Court's chief security official, requested that Maryland's governor enforce a ban on picketing outside the homes of the justices because of increased threats against them. One of the justices has a home in the state.

In the statement, Curley mentioned the arrest of a California man who was carrying a gun, knife, and pepper spray.
