The waxing gibbous can be seen with a pair of binoculars or a small telescope on Saturday.

When low-angled sunlight strikes the prominent Montes Jura mountain range in the lunar northwest, there is an interesting lunar feature.

The "Golden Handle" can be found in the northwest region of the moon where the terminator is located. The bright arcs of the Montes Jura mountain range can be seen from this location.

There are planets in the July night sky.

The Golden Handle is definitely the star of the show, but Sinus Iridum is also an interesting target. The impact crater was once flooded by the same basalt that filled the larger Mare Imbrium.

inus iridum is almost craterless. At this phase, there is a set of northeast oriented ridges.
