The signing of Steven Bergwijn from Spurs for over 25 million dollars was confirmed by the club.

The transfer of the 24-year-old was finally agreed upon after the initial £20m offer was rejected.

After falling out of favor with Spurs boss Antonio Conte, Bergwijn is looking for a new place to call home. He was a player at the youth level for the club.

He scored 8 goals in 83 appearances for Spurs.

Alfred Schreuder said that it was indicative of Steven's ambition that he made the step to Ajax. He is a good player. He is a goal-oriented person.

Spurs close to finalising Lenglet season-long loan

Clement is in a hospital this morning.

The hotel he stayed at was on the training ground.

He will be on the plane to South Korea for Spurs' pre-season tour on Saturday if the deal is completed in the next 24 hours.

On August 6th, Spurs will play host to Saints while on August 13th, they will play host to Blues in the first game of the league season.

The teams will play each other in north London on October 1st and January 14th, with the return fixture at the Spurs stadium.

The first game for newly-promoted Spurs will be against Forest at the City Ground on August 27 followed by a trip to West ham on August 30.

Spurs will play their final game before the World Cup in November, at home to Elland Road on November 12.

In the second half of the season, Spurs face two London derbies at home, first against West Ham on February 18 and then againstChelsea on February 25.
