It's one of the tougher tasks in tennis to face a six-time champion, according to Britain's Norrie.

He hadn't made it past the third round of a Grand Slam before this year.

The 35-year-old is seeking a fourth successive Wimbledon crown.

He has a poor record at Wimbledon, according to Norrie.

Grass is his favorite surface. It's one of the more difficult things to do in tennis.

Increased attention 'a lot to take in'

Andy Murray, Tim Henman and Roger Taylor are the other British men who have reached the Wimbledon singles semi-finals.

He has risen up the world rankings in recent years and won his greatest tour title at Indian Wells in 2021.

He says he is ready for the increased attention that comes with being a British player in the latter stages of Wimbledon.

He thinks you can't prepare for things like this.

Norrie has taken a bike ride to Wimbledon from his flat in west London and said he is getting a few looks on his bike.

He said that it was not sunk in yet. There's a lot of interest around the world.

I have to try and bring it down again and get back to basics. I need to prepare for the biggest match of my life.

Norrie 'will have to learn' from past defeat

The last time Norrie faced the man who has not been defeated at Wimbledon since he was a child, he was defeated by him.

He will have to learn from the mistakes he made in that match.

Norrie said he lost concentration a couple of times in his five-set victory against David Goffin and that he wouldn't be able to do that with Novak. I will have to improve my game.

After moving to New Zealand as a child, Norrie went to university in Texas and then settled in London.

Helen and David are both living in New Zealand.

Since May, the pair have been following their son after missing some of his matches in the past.

He said he was glad they chose this one. They timed it correctly.
