China and Russia show ‘strong resilience’ in their relationship, Chinese foreign minister says

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that China and Russia have shown resilience and determination in their relationship.

On the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit in Indonesia, Wang met the Russian Foreign Minister.

Wang said that Beijing will support all efforts towards a peaceful resolution to the crisis.

After a high-profile meeting between China and Russia in February, a statement said there were no limits or forbidden areas of cooperation.

Wang said that China will work with all parties to make sure that the vision of global security is realized. He said that Beijing would oppose any group of countries pursuing their own interests.
