A Southwest Airlines flight attendant was told by a pilot that cameras have been installed in every new737-800 lavatory after she spotted an iPad live streaming from a lavatory during a flight.
A Southwest Airlines flight attendant has said that she once saw something in the cockpit of a plane that was deeply disturbing to her. One of the pilots, Terry Graham, had to use the bathroom when one of the flight attendants, Renee Steinaker, was working on the flight.
She entered the cockpit while the pilot was in the bathroom, but when she got to the cockpit, she found an iPad in the pilot's seat. The captain was in the bathroom.
When she asked the co-pilot, Ryan Russell, if it was live streaming, he said it was and that every new Boing jet had these special lavatory cameras.
Two pilots bolted from the plane after Steinaker took a photo of the iPad.
Steinaker filed a lawsuit against Southwest Airlines, saying she became ill after realizing she had changed in the bathroom.
Southwest Airlines stated that the safety and security of their employees and customers is their top priority. There are no cameras in the lavatories of the plane. We don't have anything else to say at this time.
Steinaker and her husband believe they have been the target of unfair recrimination from Southwest Airlines.
