  • Mehmet Oz is accused of recording a campaign video from his house.

  • The bookcase in his New Jersey home is shown in the video.

  • Oz was endorsed by former President Trump.

Mehmet Oz has been criticized for not living in the state he wants to represent in the US Senate.

Oz registered to vote using his in-laws' address. His campaign says that he lives in Montgomery County.

People magazine was granted access to a property by Oz and his wife. The New Jersey Mansion was built 20 years ago by Dr. Oz and his wife.

Pennsylvania's lieutenant governor accused Oz of posting a campaign video on the same property.

Fetterman said not to film an ad for the Pennsylvania Senate campaign from New Jersey.

Oz's campaign did not reply to Insider's request for comment on where the video was filmed.

The mayor of Philadelphia, Jim Kenney, was blasted in a campaign video by Oz over his comments after two police officers were shot. He told reporters that he would be happy when he wasn't here.

In the video, Oz says that a surgeon never gives up on his patients, even when lives are on the line.

Both the campaign video and the one shot by People have the same rope-like pattern between the shelves, with both also featuring blue and white ceramic vases and golden candlestick holders.

Oz's eligibility to run for federal office in Pennsylvania is unaffected if he doesn't vote in New Jersey. The US Constitution does not require a US senator to reside in the state they wish to represent.
