According to reports, the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets will meet in Las Vegas to discuss a potential trade.

Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka and Nets general manager Sean Marks will both be in town for summer league play. He gave some insight into the matter in a conversation with a reporter from the sports network.

The Lakers are going to bring their summer league contingency to Las Vegas. Rob Pelinka will be able to speak with Sean Marks of the Brooklyn Nets.

The Lakers will have to move on if they can't figure out what to do with Kyrie because their roster is incomplete.

The Lakers are missing shooting despite recent additions and the team believes it can still acquire some help through a trade for Irving or another player.

According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the Lakers and Nets were talking about a swap of players.

According to Brian Lewis of the New York Post, any trade talks about Irving and Kevin Durant could drag into training camp.

The Lakers were the only team that was interested in Irving in a sign-and-trade.

Irving, a seven-time All-Star who averaged 27.4 points in 29 games last year, exercised his player option to stay with the Nets.
