According to multiple media reports, the ex-boyfriend and former business partner of ElizabethHolmes has been convicted on criminal fraud charges.
Balwani was found guilty on all 12 charges by a jury of five men and seven women.

He was found guilty of one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and three counts of wire fraud.
The two men met on a 2002 trip to Beijing that was part of a summer program at the university. They were both 37 years old at the time. They became romantically involved when they were both at Theranos. Balwani left Theranos in 2016 as the company faced scrutiny over its lab practices.
Many of the same witnesses who took the stand in Holmes' case took the stand in the defense's favor.
He faces up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each count he was convicted of.
Balwani's attorneys have denied allegations that Balwani abused her during their relationship. She wasn't a witness in the case.
