The most prominent tech executives to be charged with and convicted of fraud in a generation are the two co-owners of Theranos. The jury of five men and seven women took 32 hours to reach a verdict.
The jury could not reach a unanimous decision on three of the four counts of fraud that Ms.Holmes was found guilty of. The verdict is expected to be appealed by both parties.
They had to decide if they exaggerated the abilities of the blood-testing machines to appeal to investors and customers.
The maximum sentence for each count is 20 years. The two people are expected to be sentenced in September.
