The MacBook Pro with a Touch Bar was Apple's first laptop to feature the M2 chip. Monica Chin concluded in her review that the M2 is faster than the M1, and that the battery life is still good.

The base model has an M2 processor with eight-core and eight-core graphics, 8 gigabytes of memory, and a 128-gigabyte hard drive. This model has the same features as the pricier option, but it also has a magnetic MagSafe 3 charging port. This model comes with a 30 watt power amplifier.
The step-up model has the M2 processor, 8 gigabytes of memory, and 512 gigabytes of storage. It has the same ports, but you can charge two devices at the same time with either the 35W dualUSB-C port adapter or the 67WUSB-C power adapter.
