Lego and Nintendo have been a staple of millions of kids' lives for the past few decades, so it's no wonder that when the two joined forces, it resulted in a collection of building sets that are impossible to resist.
Although embraced by Lego fans of all ages, the Lego Super Mario playsets and interactive figures tend to appeal to younger fans of the building toy. Lego has released a number of larger sets under the Lego Super Mario theme, including a life-size buildable version of the Nintendo Entertainment System console, and a giant 3D question block.
This isn't the first time that Bowser has appeared in Lego Super Mario. A much smaller version of the baddie was included in the Castle Boss Battle expansion, but given how the character towers over Mario in the video games, this new version appears to be more appropriately scaled to the Lego figure.
There are newly designed elements to recreate the look of Bowser's spikes that allow for the perfect pose. There is a button that can be pressed to control Lego Bowser's head and neck movements, as well as an interactive fireball feature that will allow him to battle the other figures.
The price of the Lego set in Europe will be the same as it is in the US when it goes on sale on October 1st.
