Dogecoin will be accepted as a payment method in the Vegas loop of The Boring Company.

The loop is a method of transportation where passengers areferried in cars through a tunnel. The company plans to have a total of 51 stations under the city, but the first one is outside the Las Vegas Convention center.

Customers won't be able to spend their money on rides on the loop at the moment. Sometime in the future, The Boring Company will charge for rides, but only for a single ride and a day pass.

It will be possible to do this by scanning a large code at the station. Customers who don't want to use Dogecoin will be able to use a credit card and old US dollars.

At one point, Musk said that Dogecoin becoming the Earth's future currency would be the most entertaining outcome, but he has since changed his mind.

This isn't the first time that Musk's companies have accepted Dogecoin. Doge can be used to buy goods from the company.
