The barely used Hummer EV sold for nearly three times its original suggested retail price at the Las Vegas Auction.

One of the Edition 1 Hummer EV's that have sold for well over the suggested dealer price is an electric car that had just 48 miles on the clock. Two used Hummers were auctioned online in April and May for a total of $260,000. The vehicles had less than a thousand miles on their odometers.

The Edition 1 Hummer EV models were supposed to be priced at $110,000, but have been in high demand since they were announced.

The only way to get the Hummer EV is through a high priced auction.

There are over 77,500 reservations for the electric pickup and SUV. The pickup has only been delivered 372 times.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the Detroit Factory Zero has only been able to produce around a dozen pickup trucks per day. It would take 17 and a half years for the company to fulfill its reservations. The company plans to increase production by the end of the year.

The price of the electric Hummers went up by $6,250 last month.

There is another electric Hummer for sale. As of this article, the online auction for the electric pickup has reached $185,000.

The highest price a used Hummer EV has ever been sold for is in Las Vegas. The first electric Hummer sold for over two million dollars at a charity auction.
