Lin said that the growth mindset of learning and shaping ideas was the best thing about the organization. One of the first Asian celebrities to be involved with a Web3 project is the musician, according to the organization. The next Asian creative venture will be unveiled to the world.

The musician's co-conspirators, who are 29, and 37, launched the company in January as an extension of their professional background. He worked with his father to launch Zuju GP, a digital community built around soccer. Cheo used to be a self-taught Web3 expert.

“We are really proud to be ‘Web2.5’ ... we want to foster adoption from people who are not crypto natives.”

Instead of replacing Web2 with Web3 the Arc wants to bridge the two. It is possible for members to enjoy in-person experiences at the physical venues known as Playgrounds, while also using the ARC app to access their membership with utility NFTs, or unique digital assets that can provide access and other perks. The Millennium Hotels and Resorts and Zouk Group were partners in May of this year.

The person says they are proud to be called Web 2.5. We want to foster adoption from people who don't have a lot of faith in the space because of all the news. The global market for Cryptocurrencies crashed below $1 trillion in June, down from a peak of nearly $3 trillion in November, after the wipeout of TerraUSD and its support coin LUNA.

In order to alleviate concerns about the legitimacy of Web3 projects, a group of well-known leaders and partners have been linked with membership token. After joining the whitelist, prospective users would need to fill out an application on the website and own Pyxis. They move to the now- available Arc app which requires NFTs as a form of verification.

ARC

A product with strong fundamentals is what we believe in. When looking at it through a traditional lens, we're using technology for a proper use case, not because I'm gonna slap a'metaverse' logo on top of it and call for a high price.

“I cannot actually think of one app out in the market right now that actually resembles us.”

Elroy Cheo

The idea of co-creation within its audience of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, social commentators and more is core to the idea of Arc. Cheo, who serves as architect of the platform, said that members can discuss ideas through the app's unique ways of building community.

He says they created their own tech stacks instead of using existing ones. There is a social audio room for members to use. I can't think of an app in the market that looks like us.

The startup wants to scale up slowly. Cheo noted one that had a "couple hundred" members with a cumulative following in the "tens of millions."

He says that when they first started, they were just trying to solve a single pain point. It is unique that web3 breaks down all of these boundaries.
