A man is accused of raping a woman outside a bar on the Fourth of July.
According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, Eyvor Gomez was charged with sexual battery.
The victim stated that Gomez struck up a conversation with her at the bar at Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort and later suggested they go outside after last call because he claimed to have his own alcohol on him.
According to the affidavit, the victim said Gomez pushed her against the glass wall because he tried to make advances towards her. She claimed she blacked out after hitting her head. The woman tried to escape from Gomez.
The former USA softball president was charged with sexually abusing a minor and was released on bail months ago.
Gomez forced himself on the woman according to the affidavit.
A man from Florida was arrested at Disney and was found to have a gun, knife, and an object in his possession.
The victim tried to push Gomez off her, but couldn't. Gomez uses his cellphone to take a picture of the victim.
The affidavit says the two walked into the hotel lobby, where the victim sat with a group of strangers, and asked them to pretend they knew her so Gomez wouldn't notice.
The night before, Gomez and his wife were involved in an altercation with Disney security.
His wife was escorted back to their room after an argument. Eyvor was similar to the description and photograph given by witnesses. Through a video.
According to the affidavit, Gomez initially denied knowing the victim, but later said he and the victim were only kissing. He was taken to the jail.
The Orange County Jail database doesn't show that Gomez is still in jail.
