According to Insider, Musk fathered twins with an executive at Neuralink.
Musk and the executive filed a court petition to change the names of the children to include both their parents' names. A Texas judge approved the petition. The children's names were not published.
According to reports, Musk's twins with Zilis were born a few weeks before he fathered a second child. Along with two children with Boucher, and five children from his first marriage to Justine Musk, is now the father of nine children altogether. The chief of both companies has advocated for more children in the past.
Fortune couldn't immediately reach Musk or Zilis. A request for comment was not returned byTesla.
The richest man in the world is Musk with a net worth of over 200 billion. He struck a deal to acquire the micro-blogging site in April, but the deal did not go through. The Neuralink was created by Musk. The company claims to be creating the future of brain interface: building devices now that will help people with paralysis and inventing new technologies that will expand our abilities.
She is the director of operations at Neuralink. She was a project director at Musk's company. She received her degree from Yale University. She was included in a Forbes list of 30 under 30 for venture capital, and was described as a founding member of the firm.
Forbes reported at the time that Zilis looks for new ways to use data and machine learning.
