Thailand Pass, a program that allowed travelers from all over the world to enter, ended on July 1st and now requires proof of full vaccinations or a recent negative test to enter.

Travelers who are vaccinated can enter Thailand if they show proof of their vaccinations. Travelers between the ages of 4 and 17 can enter with at least one dose of a vaccine administered at least two weeks before their entry date.

Travelers who aren'tvaccinated can enter with a valid passport and a recent negative test if they take an ATK test within 72 hours of their trip.

Prior to the new rule, travelers had to sign up for the Thailand Pass system, provide proof of vaccinations, and purchase travel insurance in order to travel. The new rule is supposed to help the country recover from the damage done by COVID-19.

In a statement before the entry requirement change, the tourism minister said that the country had been battered by the swine flu for a long time. We need to restore our economic growth with tourism. It will be easier for tourists to come after the Thailand Pass is removed.

81% of Thailand's population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and Thailand is reporting relatively low numbers of positive cases.
