Bradley Beal's five-year contract with the Washington Wizards has a no-trade clause, according to Bobby Marks.
Only one active player in the league has a no-trade clause that requires eight years of service with the same team.
The 10th player in league history with a no-trade clause is Bradley Beal.
Even if the Wizards continue to struggle, the contract could keep Beal with the team.
In the last four years, Washington has only made the playoffs once and hasn't won a series in almost a year. The team finished 12th in the conference.
After opting out of the last year of his contract, there was a lot of speculation that he would leave, but he chose to stay with the team that drafted him.
The decision would come down to more than money according to him.

"If I think I can win in D.C., that's what I'm going to do, and I want people to respect that," he said.
The 29-year-old now has complete control over his future, as he can either sign with Washington for the next five years or be traded to another team.
He suffered a season-ending left wrist injury in January, after he had averaged 23.2 points and 4.7 rebound in 40 games. He had averaged over 30 points per game in each of the previous two years.
If he can return to full strength in 2022-23, the Wizards will be a contender.
