If you're looking for proof, look no further than the fierce whoever/whomever debate in the fourth season of The Office.

The Office Ladies talked about the second half of "Money" on the latest episode. "Money" was the first episode directed by Paul Lieberstein. The season finale "Goodbye, Toby" was directed by Paul Feig and was nominated for an award.

The conference room scene was worthy of an award. The whoever/whoever drama begins at 2:33 in the clip below, but the earlier kiss between Kelly and Darryl is important to watch.

I took a picture of the kiss and John Krasinski broke down. When you break, he's doing that weird puffy cheek thing. Kinsey said that he was losing it when he looked at you.

"Well, you know what I mean?" If you see it, it is me. The three of us should not be seated in a line. I remember leaning forward to talk to you over John.

Kinsey said that he couldn't look at the people. I put my body away like that. You look like you're on the verge.

Yes." We were a mess during this scene.

Ryan wants Michael to learn PowerPoint so that he can communicate it to the people here, to your clients, to whoever he pleases. Michael thinks that Ryan should have used "whoever" instead of "whomever."

After watching the scene again, Kinsey and Fischer both praised the writer and director. You know what. The scene was close to being cut from the show.

He did everything he could to get it. He liked it very much. Kinsey loves the conference room scene.

"There was a lot of pressure on him to cut that runner. And he really felt like it should stay in."

There was a vote in the writers room to cut it. The runner had a lot of pressure on him. Fisher said that he thought it should stay in. He's glad he did because that's the clip they played at the awards when we were nominated. Whoever/whomever was the scene.

Kinsey thought that the 27 seconds of silence in the Season 2 "Booze Cruise" episode was similar to the 27 seconds of silence in the show.

These kinds of scenes were not allowed on other shows. Network pressure is what they would succumb to. It would not have happened on another show. Kinsey believes that.
