Next up for the Duffer Brothers is a fifth season ofStranger Things. The streamer is going to want that as soon as possible after watching a billion hours of the show. Soon, writing will start. The brothers' new company, Upside Down Pictures, has just signed a major deal with the new company, and they want to remain in business with them.
Stephen Daldry will direct a stage play that is inspired by the show. The new live-action series adaptation of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's Death Note will be different from the previous film made by Adam Wingard.
That is not the only thing. An original series from creators Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews, as well as an adaptation of Stephen King's The Talisman, are also included in the deal. The spinoff had already been announced.
Hilary has been hired by the brothers to run Upside Down because of their busy schedule. The Duffers said in a press release that they found a kinship with Hilary after watching Jaws, Home Alone, and Speed. Hilary is passionate about telling stories and protective of them. Many people are drawn to work with her. She is a rare talent and we are very grateful to have her at our side.
