Lingard has yet to make a decision about his next move and is not sure where he will play next year. As he looks to force his way back into the England squad for the World Cup in November, he needs to be playing regularly.
At the end of June, Lingard left Old United after making more than 200 appearances and scoring 35 goals for the club.
Lingard scored nine goals in 16 games during his loan spell at the London Stadium in the year 2021.
Barcelona and AC Milan were in touch earlier in the summer, as well asEverton boss Frank Lampard.
Lingard didn't make a lot of appearances in the league last year, making just two starts and scoring two substitute goals. He scored two times in England's victory over Andorra.
He is one of a number of players who have left United this summer.
