Seed, the player-built online universe, is being developed by Klang Games. The company has a new co- CEO.

Seed will be a persistent, large-scale world where players shape their destinies and share the experience with Artificial Intelligence-driven virtual humans.

The SpatialOS platform from Improbable provides the infrastructure that allows small development teams to create massive simulations. The game takes place in the future, but it doesn't have The Force-like dreams. It's more realistic.

In Seed, players are supposed to colonize an alien planet through collaboration, conflict, and player-to-player interaction. The world of Seed is a living, breathing entity thanks to the unique, real-time management of multiple characters in the game.

The round was led by Animoca brands and Kingsway Capital. The company has raised over 80 million dollars.

This is a huge accomplishment for us. Von Mundidi, co-CEO of Klang Games, said in an interview with GamesBeat that they are happy to get this level of trust from investors.

Seed is a platform where players can explore, participate in a player-driven economy, and contribute to their community. Seed can be experienced through its virtual humans.

Isabelle Henriques is co-CEO and COO at Klang Games.

The active caretaking skills of the players are relied on by the Seedlings. Seed wants to create an online space where people can connect, work together, and build strong communities.

Vondi is happy to get to the next stage of prototype work on the simulation-based game. Vondi hopes that Seed can solve a lot of the problems in online games when it comes to amassing a huge number of people together in one place, as companies hope to do with the metaverse, the universe of virtual worlds that are all connected.

In order to accelerate the development of Seed, this new round of funding will be used.

The company hopes to double the number of employees in the next year. It wants to improve the back-end and technical infrastructure of Seed in order to create a collaborative and inspiring work environment.

Vondi said that they are trying to hire very aggressively.

Seed will have persistent AI-driven characters.

She has 14 years of experience in management, operations, strategy and production, and she joined the team in February. She was the studio director and lead producer on the Call of Duty franchise.

Animoca Brands believes that the combination of design and technical prowess of Klang Games will ensure that Seed is a success. We are looking forward to exploring the future of humankind.

Vondi started the business.

The team was inspired by Eve Online to put tens of thousands of people into the same universe.

Vondi said that they always intended to do this.

Kingsway Capital, a London investment firm, was impressed by the vision of Seed and the diverse high- performance team that Klang Games has built. A new type of entertainment for global audiences is enabled bySeed's technological architecture.

Henriques said that the guiding light is to target a broad audience in the simulation genre like Electronic Arts did with The Sims and Sim City. It is set in a sci-fi setting. The company was able to have 50,000 artificial intelligence-driven characters in a single city.

We moved away from hardcore sci-fi and a futuristic focus because we felt we could add meaning and belong to a lot of the players. The team realized that Seed is more about the larger community.
