When he reached the Wimbledon semi-finals after a crazy match, he became emotional.

In front of a thrilled Court One crowd, the Britons beat the Belgians in a hard fought match.

Norrie had tears in his eyes as the crowd chanted his name and his family joined in the celebrations.

He said his mother has cried every match he has won.

Ninth seed Norrie used the energy of the 10,000 strong crowd to push him through a rollercoaster match and become the first British man to reach the Wimbledon singles semi-finals since 2016

The reception he received at SW19 will be the first thing he drinks after the match.

Norrie said that all the hard work and the sacrifice hit him at once.

The situation at Wimbledon in front of my family, my friends, and a lot of people following that match is very special.

The match was crazy to get through.

Norrie's first experience of tennis was hitting a ball on the driveway of his family home in New Zealand.

He has traveled around the world playing tennis and risen up the rankings because of his determination and innate competitiveness.

One of the biggest tournaments outside of the four Grand Slams is Indian Wells.

His New Zealand-based parents have been unable to watch him due to the coronaviruses, but they were present on Tuesday.

Norrie said that it was probably stress for them today.

After the match, they came over and gave me a big hug, and my sister as well.

"To see me playing at the level that I have been and to get some wins is exactly why they came." They made the trip.

Norrie was cheered on by a crowd of people on the court and on the hill outside.

The hill has been referred to as Henman Hill and Murray Mound in the past.

Norrie did not know what a knoll was.

It does not roll off the tongue like Henman Hill.

Johanna Konta, who reached the semi-finals at Wimbledon in 2017, said she was happy for Norrie.

I am so happy. Konta said that he has established himself as a top player.

He's elevating himself on the men's side of the sport after winning the Indian Wells title.

During his career, Norrie has emphasized the support he has received from his team.

"Norrie wants to get better and I am here to help him every step of the way," Wozniacki said.

You have to have a good team around you, a good atmosphere, and the belief that you can do it.

I don't believe he's finished.
