Waititi said he forgot about them.
Portman had a very important role as Padmé Amidala in the "Star Wars" trilogy, as well as being the wife and mother of Anakin Skywalker.
There would be no Skywalker Saga if Padmé wasn't there.
There is no information about Waititi's project.
Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy described Waititi's film as unique. Waititi's film is expected to be the next "Star Wars" movie.
Portman reprises her role as Dr. Jane Foster, an astronomer, in "Love andThunder."
The idea of bringing Foster's character back into the fold was proposed by Waititi.
Waititi said that people want to see Jane Foster again.
Waititi said that Kevin Feige, the president of the studio, was more than willing to work out a way to make the movie with Portman in it.
Waititi said that he dropped off some comic books for her because she had never heard of the comic. How did we do that? We offered them a lot of money.
