Both Parents of 2-Year-Old Child Killed During Highland Park Mass Shooting

A couple found a young boy in the middle of the chaos and brought him to the fire department.

The toddler was taken to a hospital by his grandparents.

At least seven people have died and at least 30 were injured in Monday's massacre. The shooter fired a lot of shots.

A crowd funding page has been set up to help support the boy. The page's creators wrote that they took him to safety, came together to locate his grandparents, and prayed for the safety of his family.

The page states that the boy will be in the care of his grandparents, but it notes that he will have a long road ahead to heal, find stability, and navigate life without both parents.
