Steph Curry's motivation for that elusive Finals MVP (2:55)

When the Warriors had a chance at a title and what Curry still has to prove, he was on. There is a time and a place for it.

Stephen Curry is still putting up numbers despite the NBA finals being over.

Less than a month after his historic performance in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, the jersey Curry wore in the first quarter sold for over $200,000 on NBA Auctions.

Curry made six 3-pointers in the first quarter of Golden State's 120-108 loss to the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals on June 2, setting a record for most 3-pointers made in a single quarter.

The record paid for an NBA jersey at an auction, modern or vintage, is not the record paid for a Kobe Bryant jersey from his first season in the league.

After becoming the NBA's all-time leading 3-point shooter, Curry's collectability is soaring, as it has for the past year.

In late May, a one-of-1 Logoman Curry rookies card sold for nearly half a million dollars with a buyer's premium.

The Curry jersey worn in Game 1 of the 2016 NBA Finals sold for $343,200 with a buyer's premium nine days after it was sold for $720,000.

The most valuable sports card of all time was briefly made the most sought after debut card of all time before a T206 Honus by Logoman Curry.

Curry is one of the most collectible athletes in sports. He became the 10th player in NBA history to win two NBA Most Valuable Players and a Finals Most Valuable Player award.
