Skull and Bones is finally going to get a new look. On July 7th, the publisher will hold a showcase for the open-world pirate game. The event will be streamed on the two websites.

A new release date is expected to be announced. We don't blame you for not keeping track of Skull and Bones. The original release window for the title was announced at E3. The game was pushed back to 2020 and then back to 2020 again and then back to 2020 again.

The game was delayed due to a change of vision. The premise of Skull and Bones was easy to understand. The game was supposed to take the sailing mechanics from the previous game and make them more accessible.

We need more time, that's the answer. The ambitions for Skull and Bones came with bigger challenges. Skull and Bones needed fresh eyes to help it evolve from its original idea to what it is today. Multiple games and projects from the company's teams will be on display at a separate event on September 10.
