A woman captured video of a passenger slithering into her car.
A woman named Vicki Ruhl is from Missouri and lives in the area. A snake slithered in when she went to visit some friends on the farm.
Vicki saw a snake on her car. It was my worst nightmare to see the snake. It was mind blowing.
She was worried about being stuck on the side of the road in the heat and didn't want to pull over. She didn't want to crash the car. She said she missed her exit because she was so scared.
There is a video about what to do if bitten.
She says she was scared. I don't know where I'm going. I will never forget that experience when I drive.
Police advised Vicki to call for help. She got off the road. The snake escaped.
The reptile rescue was reached out to by Fox23 Jonathan said he thought the snake was a bullsnake, which is not poisonous.
First of all, don't panic if you see a snake in your house or car. Snakes try to find a hiding spot, rest or keep warm. Don't freak out if your car catches fire. Relax.
If you are brave enough, open all the doors and use a long stick to push the snake into the correct direction.
You can call a rescue. We don't have to pay to come and help. We want to make sure snakes are taken care of and put in a safe place. We don't want them to frighten people. They don't want the public to harm them.
