T.J. Warren has agreed to a one-year contract with the Brooklyn Nets.

After dominating in the NBA's "bubble" set in Florida at the end of the season, Warren has only played four games. He didn't play in any of the four games in 2020-21 because of stressFractures in his left foot.

Warren was playing the best basketball of his career before he got hurt. In his first game in the bubble, he scored 53 points in a 127-121 win over the 76ers.

In the regular season, he averaged 31.0 points.

He scored a career-high 19 points on 53.6 percent shooting for the season.

He missed the majority of the next two seasons due to foot injuries. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Warren had recovered from the ailments and had resumed basketball activities.

He was held out of the last 12 games by the Pacers as a precautionary measure.

Warren was the 14th pick in the NBA draft. After signing a four-year, $47 million contract extension, he averaged 18.6 points.

The Pacers were dealt by the Suns in a three-team deal. He was part of the team that made the playoffs in 2020.

He'll join a Nets team that's in turmoil and uncertain about the future of Irving. Warren could return to free agency in a year if his value improves around the league.
