Microsoft’s new Outlook Lite for Android app is coming this month

The Outlook lite app is being worked on by Microsoft. Microsoft describes Outlook lite as an app that brings the main benefits of Outlook in a smaller app size with fast performance for low end devices on any network.

The Outlook lite app will be released this month. An Outlook lite app exists in a few countries, so Microsoft appears to be readying it for a larger release. Outlook lite won't support work or school accounts according to Microsoft's own documentation

The slimmed down version of the original Facebook app was created by Meta. The 1 MB Facebook lite app was designed for the developing markets. Gmail Go is a lightweight version of the Gmail app.

One of the most popular email apps is Outlook mobile, which has more than 500 million downloads. Outlook is recommended as the best email app for both the iPad and the mobile device.

A new Outlook app is being tested. The app is based on Outlook on the internet. Outlook for Windows app will be replaced by it in the future.
