The Artificial Intelligence-powered cameras will be used at the World Cup to help referees make incorrect calls.

The semi-automated system consists of a sensor in the ball that relays its position on the field 500 times a second, and 12 tracking cameras mounted underneath the roof of stadiums.

This data will be combined with other information to create an alert when a player commits an offense when they are closer to the other team's goal. When a decision is made, an alert will be sent to the control room who will tell the referees what to do.

This process will happen within a few seconds and will allow for quicker and more accurate decision making. The data generated by the cameras and ball will be used to create automated animations which can be played on screens in the stadium and in TV broadcasts to inform all spectators in the clearest possible way.

Automatic technology is being used to help referees make decisions. The video assistant referee, or VAR, was used at the World Cup.

“The referees and the assistant referees are still responsible for the decision on the field of play”

The new system will allow officials to make faster and more accurate decisions, but they are still in charge of the game, according to the chairman of the referees committee.

Collina knows that someone called it a robot. The decision on the field of play is still in the hands of the referees and assistant referees.

"This technology is the culmination of three years of dedicated research and testing to provide the very best for the teams, players and fans," said Infantino.

A key part of the system is an inertial measurement unit (IMU) sensor, placed inside the official Al Rihla ball, which transmits its location on the field 500 times a second.

The World Cup will be hosted in an Arabic country for the first time in history. Traditionally, the tournament is held in the summer but will be held in November and December this year to deal with the heat ofQatar.

The decision to hold the World Cup in the Middle East has been lambasted. An investigation by the United States Department of Justice found that top FIFA officials had been bribed to give the tournament to the Arab country.

Many investigations by organizations like Human Rights Watch and The Guardian have shown that migrant workers who are essentially slaves have been used to build stadiums in the country. Since the country was awarded the World Cup in 2010, at least 6,500 migrant workers have died due to extreme working conditions.

The first four games of the World Cup will be played on November 21st, including England vs Iran and USA vs Wales.

I work for a company in the United States. I'm from Britain. It's not a good idea to call it association football instead of football or soccer.
