The Senate has advanced a bipartisan safety bill and is hoping to pass it soon.

Something has to be changed. There needs to be something done. There needs to be something happening. There are too many deaths.

The toll of mass shootings on families and communities was discussed.

The Supreme Court's ruling last month that overturned abortion rights was one of the issues that Hendriks has been outspoken on.

He asked what the next thing would be. They're going to vote for women now.
