Joey Chestnut continued his dominance of the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest with his 15th title.

A protester in a Darth Vader mask rushed the stage in the middle of the competition. Chestnut grabbed the person by the neck and threw him to the ground.

The New York City Walking Show was used to capture the incident.

While Chestnut and the rest of the field continued with the competition, security was able to remove the person from the stage.

According to the New York Police Department, three people were in custody.

Chestnut won the title with 63 hot dogs and buns.

He fell short of his own record of 76, but it was 20 more than the next competitor.

The total was well under the line of 74.5 hot dogs, although DraftKings said it would refunds bets due to the storm.
